He was lucky enough to have had a field studies class where he learned stuff at KPFA in Berkeley. During and after college he worked about a dozen years at KHSU Arcata,CA where he produced jazz history shows and thematic Audio Collages with lots of humor. Most recently he has put in 13 plus years with KRCB in Santa Rosa, CA.
